The Art in Composition

Absolutely nothing! 

The importance of composition is often overlooked by many landscape photographers.

I tend to see photographers adhering to simple compositional theories like Rule of Thirds, leading lines, framing and symmetry assuming that using these approaches will create a strong composition. 

You must have an understanding of how and why certain compositional elements should be used to activate the full power of these theories and approaches. 

Using composition well can be learnt at any point in your photography journey and in fact, the earlier, the better. 

The camera you already own is enough to dive in and devour the learning inside this workshop. In fact, any camera, including a smartphone, and any lens can help you apply the concepts in this workshop.

A scenic location DOES NOT guarantee a successful landscape photo! 

Take me as an example. My first landscapes weren't all that stunning, and I had years of training and experience as a portrait photographer!

Furthermore, it benefits you if your locations aren't stunning because you can focus on learning my frameworks instead of missing the moment. Then when you're standing in front of a grande scene you'll have the skills you need to capture the kinds of photos you want.
