For my first photo tour, I opted for Gina Yeo and Daniel Tremblay's tour of Banff in November 2023 because of their local knowledge of the area. They were also extremely skilled photographers. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The level of service was outstanding. They ensured that everyone's needs were addressed, whether it was help with equipment, with composition and camera settings, with instructive training on more advanced techniques like focus stacking and blending modes, and by lending their own gear. I rarely saw the guides take any images themselves; their focus was exclusively on their clients. They also offered two 2-hour Zoom sessions after the trip ended and shared all their post-processing videos, brushes and overlays. Despite the intense schedule, Gina and Daniel were always in good humour and patient with our endless enquiries. It was an exceptional learning experience. My entire creative and workflow process has evolved. Can hardly wait to plan my next photo adventure.
