Photographer, I've been where you are...Hang out with me and I'll show you how you can take the kinds of photos you want a lot faster and with less disappointment than trying to learn landscape photography on your own.

My love of photography was sparked as a little girl during family road trips and camping excursions in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. My adoration for photography grew through adolescence and adulthood, but it wasn't until I became a mother that my interest in photography became a full-fledged passion.

I photographed my growing children for many years, and my connection to and time spent in the Canadian Rocky Mountains developed my love of landscape photography.

However, learning photography wasn't easy. I had to waddle through mixed messages and much trial and error. Eventually, I discovered what works and what does not.

Today, I've had the honour and pleasure of mentoring and teaching thousands of photographers correct landscape photography techniques and approaches through my proven step-by-step systems that have helped them get amazing-looking photos that fill them with pride and joy. I look forward to doing the same for you.

“Gina is a wonderful landscape teacher, no matter whether you are learning from her in person or over the internet. Gina is highly knowledgeable about various aspects that make strong landscape photos including lighting and exposure, composition techniques, colour theory, and post-processing techniques, and she does a great job of explaining these ideas in ways that make sense and are actionable by her students. I have had the opportunity to learn from Gina in several different ways over the past five years, and I always pick up new tips and techniques.”

In the spirit of reconciliation, truth and gratitude, Gina would like to acknowledge that the lands she loves and largely photographs are the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. Gina acknowledges all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
